What today are the total (typical) line item costs if you are attempting to purchase a house in the specific period from a)the time of initial interest to b)the keys are actually handed over? I'm thinking things like surveyor, solicitor, govt taxes etc. Say for example on a house worth €300,000 with a deposit of €30,000 saved.
I am in the process of buying a house at the moment and the costs I have factored in are:
Stamp duty at 1%: 3000 on a 300K house
House inspection / survey: 450e approx.
Solicitor including registration fees etc.: 2200e
Mortgage protection: approx 500e per annum
House insurance: approx. 500e per annum
