To Repair or Buy another

Hi there,

Need help on this one.
Was in town last week and ended up in a bit of an accident.
Had the car for over 4 years now and never had so much as a bang, but due to the accident my bonnet is curled inwards, my bumper is hanging and one of my sidelights is messed up too! Basically there wasn't a scratch on the other car -much bigger car than mine! ..and they were more worried about mine and said they wouldnt run it through the insurance..non need cause as I said no damage to theirs (really nice because it was my fault in hindsight) just didn't brake in time in the wet weather..

..Anyway,,,question is what do I do or what can I do?
The car you see is a 1997 106 peugeot and to be honest am I really stupid to even considering repairing it when the repairs would be the same as a new (second hand one)??

Any help would be really appreciated.

Get a quote on repairs and sus out if there would be a greater risk to yourself if you were in a similar collision given the damage done.

That way you'll be able to make a decision on whether it's worth the hassle or whether you should write it off. If it's anything like a grand or more I'd say forget about it and buy something else.
