Timing Belt

Hi guys
Just wondering how often do you need to get your timing belt changed.I have a 00 audi a4 with 98k miled on the clock,belt last changed 45k miles.

To the best of my knowledge, the timing belt should be changed every 60,000 miles. In your case, this was done prematurely for some reason. As you now have 98K miles, you should change it before 105K miles so you should start to think about booking it in

The timing belt issue for audi's seem to be highly contentious issues.
Some dealers have been saying 60k, others are saying 40k or 4 years, which ever comes first.

I have a 02 A4 and done my first belt at 52k, and am 90k now so will probably go for 100k-105k to be safe.
