Timer whilst on-line

Is there any software available which will serve as an on-screen timer/alarm? We have signed up for an eircom 25 hours per month for €9.99 deal and all was going well until my doughter got bitten by the bebo bug, I have no problem with Bebo as such but she looses track of time and our last bill was very scary. What I would like is and alarm clock thingie that would warn her, and the rest of us, how much time is used up this month etc. Surely there must be something like that out there? We live in a rural area, not a hope of broadband this centuary

The no frills timer seems like the bare minimim you'd need. There is probably a better one somewhere else but this is free

I've used [broken link removed] (free) in the past for timing dial-up usage and logging connect/disconnect events through some basic VBScript scripts wot I wrote myself. If you choose to use Achronet and are interested in the scripts (which log start/end times in a simple text format suitable for importing into Excel for further analysis) let me know and I'd be happy to share them.
