Time to kill in North County Dublin

On Sunday I have to drop my son off at a birthday party in Ratoath and collect him 2 hours later. Not enough time to head home to Dublin NE and back again.

What to do locally, that doesn't involve shopping or sitting in a pub ?

May have 3 year-old daughter with me too so need to keep her entertained.
 
Simple solution-get Mrs. Tarfhead to bring them .

Could you go to the cinema somewhere or another?
 
Strange thread title - thought it was a new Colin Farrell movie or something - maybe a remake of the old Charles Bronson vigilante stuff.

Although technically shopping, it's not the Black Hole that is Blanchardstown SC that herself had been suggesting.
 
Wear warm clothes & make sure you wear a jacket with a hood.

Everytime I go down to Fairyhouse it seems to rain and blow up a storm!
