Sad to see that TimeTeam has been pulled from Channel 4. One of the reasons that I did a 3 year course in archaeology. I always looked forward to it on a Sunday evening. The characters were great.
Ah, I hadn't noticed this. I loved the programme, but did notice that in recent years the sites and digs were getting less "exciting" - maybe they ran out of interesting sites to investigate?
I'm sure that TT introduced more people to archaeology than visits to museums ever did!
I really loved this show. Seeing the lovely English countryside, the summer weather, especially if you were watching a show in the winter, the comraderie and banter was great. I have been to visit lots of archaeological sites in Ireland as a result of this show.
