time in lieu

Hi,

If you get time in lieu of 6 weeks and leave lets say next week. Is your official end date 6 weeks after that.
I ask because when i go I ll be very near 15 years of service which make a huge difference when calculating TFA with scsb formula.

eg

redundant sept 1 and get 6 weeks TIL. Would have 15 years of service on Oct 1.
For scscb would i have 15 years service done?

time in lieu wont change anything, your finish date is your finish date.

Is the number of years used to caclulate scscb not done pro rata anyway?
