Hi all, this may sound funny but would anyone know where I could get timber cut for the fascias on my house, the house is old and the fascias are large and not in mertic.
They are proving hard to source.

Hi froggie, I have considered it but I think it would not suit this type of house and think it would look better with wood.

Hi tbb123
there are some good wood effect PVC fascias out there. Celuplast do some good ones. Otherwise i suppose the best place to go is your local joinery. I have no connection with Celuplast apart from being a customer.

AFAIK B&Q (definitely Tallaght branch) and Homebase (definitely Naas Rd. branch) cut wood. Very busy tho.

What kind of timber do you want to use? Presumably you want a traditional moulded fascia board, with quirked bead on one edge. You won't get that in a DIY shed. If you want to replace like with like you'll have to take a sample to a large timber yard or failing that try and get a joinery shop to run off a few hundred feet of it for you. This won't be cheap.
