Tiling Costs

Hi,

To tile a famility Bathroom and an ensuite fully what would an average cost be? I understand that alot is based on the price of the tiles. The tiles we have chosen would average about €15 a sq yard. I dont have the measurements of both but they would be avaerage sizes. Is about €1800 about right. This includes all grouting, adhesives etc etc

(Just material not fitting)

Hi Blaze. would depend on the volume of tiling and probably location.

In Clare was quoted 14€/ceramic 18€/porcelain 33€/stone per yd2

However, if you've a lot of yardage maybe you can shop around
 
Shop around for adhesive and grout, rather than buy from the tile shop. I have seen the DIY stores being significantly cheaper than the tile shops for these items.

1800 seems excessive

Measure your rooms length by width (floor and walls) and divide by 9 to get SQ yards and add a bit for wastage and minus a bit for bath, showers etc
