Tiles Breaking and Cracking

I am having problems with tiles in the upstairs bathrooms.
In both alot of the tiles have cracked.
This was a new build/renovation that we moved back into a year ago.
Is this part of the house settling in

Floor tile or wall tiles or both?

This happens when tiles are laid down on unsecured/poorly laid bathroom floors. Should almost always be coverered with good ply. Builder should remove and replace floors if you hassle him but you will have to retile at your own expense probably. I'm surprised it took a year to become evident or have you noticed more cracks appearing over time. Usually starts with hairline cracks along where floor is attached to beams

if on the floor - it looks as though ply may not have been put down beforehand...
