Does anyone know how much a good tiler charges these days for tiling floors?

Not sure if this is a good rate, but I am paying €20 per sq. yard to do polished porcelain, here in Drogheda.

We paid €20 per sq yard recently - in Dublin

Quoted €14/yd in Clare for regular €18 for porcelain and €35 for marble

In Dublin €20 to €25 is the norm

I was quoted nearly €28 by a well respected, Dublin based, 'expert' tiler. Against that, €20 looked good to me and we went for it - apparently its not the best rate, especially since we are in Drogheda! Ah well, next time (if there is one)!
