Tiler charge for levelling?

I was quoted a set price at beginning of job by our tiler.
There was a fair bit of levelling that needed to be done that became apparant after he started the job - I supplied the levelling materials.
Do tilers generally charge for the levelling or would this be taken into account in the original price? he hasn`t mentioned anything yet but am meeting him today to sort payment & just want to check other peoples opinions/experiences.

Ran into the same issue. Removed old tiles and they were extremely difficult to remove so the floor needed to be levelled before the new tiles went down. Paid for the materials but not the labour. The builder hinted that we would need to discuss the original agreed price but we said the price was agreed for the work and we considered it all inclusive. Chancing it really but he agreed to it!
