Biden has decided to leave it to trump whether or not to ban tik tok or else bring it into US ownership, So what will happen?

Trump is saying he will extend it by 90 days. Even if it is banned, it's just banned from app stores in the US.

i think tik tok themselves decided to go down in order to pressure trump to sort it quickly, a bit of a risky strategy given trump, he is only recently a tik tok apologee but does he want to be seen to cave into a chinese company pressure tactics

With Trump money talks...and Zucker and Musty are getting cosy with him. I'd guess they don't want any controls on social media, and they aren't too far from ticktox. Trump isn't going to fall out with those guys.
