I just bought a couple of tickets for the Bodies exhibition in Dublin from ticket.com. As usual they take their extra charge per ticket which I find quite high (3 euro per ticket of 20 euro), and I find it objectionable that the charge is per ticket and not per transaction. I'm sure this has been discussed here before.
But what I found even more objectionable was that they allow you to print out your ticket if you wish, but that costs another 2 euro! (This is on top of the ticket and service charge).
I agree with Brendan that this is not a rip-off. It's legal and above board. But it's cheeky to say the least! The printing of your own ticket really costs the company nothing, they charge it because they believe people will be willing to pay it to avoid queues. I think I'll queue.
