Thunderbird and migrating emails

I have asked Santa for a new PC this Christmas. Anybody know if there is a way of transferring all the emails from Thunderbird from the old PC to hopefully, if I'm a good boy, my new one. Thanks and in case I don't have the opportunity between now and the big day - have a good one and I hope that Santa is good to you all!

Look at your account settings. There is an item there called 'Local Folders'. This contains the path to the where your e-mails are stored. You'll be able to copy the contents of this to your new PC (assuming you've been a good boy).
