Thoughts - pay off mortgage early

No .they gave me the rates face go face this week when i was in there .im taking it up

Red onion ..sorry ,its only when i read back the thread that i realised i had put in 2.2% .your right 3yr is 2.55% .
I was at the time contemplating their 2.2% deposit account and that number was fresh in my mind

Would you have a view on the 6yr ..my thinking is that in 3yrs time similar rates will still be available and dont bother locking the rate for 6 ...although the rate is so close only 0.05% i doubt myself a little also
 
Thanks for the additional advice. At this stage I am going to pay down 90% if not the whole amount in the summer.
 
There is no point speculating on the future path of interest rates.

Pick something that bests suits your payment abilities and risk tolerance.
