I'll leave the current account and savings for now.
I have opened the online form on Avant for the credit card a few times now but haven't completed it yet. We clear the credit card every month so haven't paid fees/interest in a long time. I think I'll just go ahead and switch credit card. Is there any reason I shouldn't choose Avant Money for this?
Mortgage will probably be next. Can fix for 7 years at 1.95%. Our current mortgage is around €800 a month and we're paying €1100. With Avant that could be around €760 a month and we'd probably keep paying the €1100. They say you can over pay 10% of the balance each year which is great.
About €175k left on mortgage and 24 years, if my estimates are correct.
Then I'd have to figure where to get a joint account and put some savings (we saving for some renovations so will need access to this).
