I am in receipt of ESB pension also in receipt of mixed insurance pension from state In possession of confirmation letter 22/10/2012 and receving this since 30/03/2013 They confirmed I had 474 full rate contributions and 1918 modified ones Iam receiving €45.70 and qualified adult increase of €30.50 Reading the Dept website recently I understand the way my entitlement is calculated is 474 divided by1918 multiplied by full rate €230.30 This appears to mean I am being underpaid or am I misreading rules THANKS

It is very difficult to calculate someone else's State pension entitlements. You are best advised to ring the dept of social welfare and ask them. They have your full PRSI payments.

I do know though, that a lot of ESB workers paid a lower PRSI rate, one that does not give them an entitlement to a State pension.

I think you are missing a piece here. My understanding is that your full rate contributions 474 are divided by your total contributions (1918+474)
