The teletext has gone on my TV. Does anyone know if this is a simple job to repair and what the cost will be?

No idea. Are you sure it's not just a problem with the remote?
 
Yeah - what exactly are the symptoms? Absolutely no teletext or something else?
 
Do you have a sky box?? If so, then plug out the sky box and then back in. This happens on occasion and it needs to be rebooted.
