Watching the Sunday Game last night as I do each week and I enjoy very much but just wondered of bringing on a guy from the far end of the country for 5 minutes analysis. Paul Flynn came up from Waterford for a 5 minute slot to speak about the previous nights U.21 final. I'm sure Paul did'nt mind as he's surely well paid but are RTE rolling in money that they can afford this? We had 3 more guys on to talk about next Sundays All Ireland Final. Would love to know how much each of these guys get, I heard before it was a thousand per night each but I don't know how true that is.

Its very easy to spend someone elses money. €160 for a TV licence to watch the rubbish R.T.E. come up with and pay massive money to Finucane etc

If there is rubbsh on a channel, I switch channels.

Your TV licence fee is paid to the Minister for Communications because you have a TV set; it is not payable to RTE.

Why do RTE look for the increases in the licence fee then if it doesn't affect their funding?
