Recently I heard about the above web site on the wireless.

If nothing else it deserves 5 stars for the site name

Have any of you used it ?

If so, what did you think ?

Yes any time I've had occasion to consult that site I've found it a mine of useful information .. and it has seemed to be very accurate too any time I've subsequently travelled on any of the trains he describes.

Yes, the website's address is www.seat61.com. It is an extremely valuable resource for unusual rail journeys. I used it to plan my trip to Russia last year - no idea where else I could have found all that information.

Yes, it's very good.

The detail is impressive.

He was or is a civil servant, I think in the DoT in the UK.

I plan to travel first class from London to Frankfurt on Eurostar and ICE trains for 99 euro. What a bargain.

This site is great. The site's links really demonstrate the value of internet surfing for information. Used it a couple of years ago along with other sites to plan a rail trip in China including an overnight sleeper from Shanghai to Hong Kong.
