What is it about Newcastle that leaves them again in another fine mess?
They have had more managers and players in the last ten years than China have gold medals.
Is it the ever demanding fans of the Northeast who think that Newcastle is the home of football and that the title trophy should be be permanently on display?
Or is it the fact Newcastle are one of the few clubs to have always had 'local boy comes good chairmen' who think with their hearts and not with their heads.
Football, as we saw yesterday, unfortunately requires mega-millionaires to finance decent signings and not ordinary millionaires who cannot now possibly please the crowd.
