Was anybody looking at the so called great british quiz recently I believe the prize was won last week. I was wondering what the answer was and how did they come up with it?

twenty-five divided by five =
1+2+3x4 =
12 x 0 =
101 - 99 =

ADD THE NUMBERS.

I HAD TO EDIT MY POST BECAUSE IT'S NOT ALLOWING ME TO POST A REPLY....I FOUND OUT THE ANSWER IS 4616 BUT HAVEN'T FOUND OUT HOW THEY CAME UP WITH THIS NUMBER.....ANY IDEAS?
 
The answer is 222 ignore all the written stuff and the mamthematical signs and just add up all the numbers ie 1,2,3,4,12,0,101 and 99.
Correct me if im wrong

Is this one of those phone-in quizes on TV? If so they always use trick questions to ensure the maximum revenue from those calling in.
 
using macnas method the answer should be 31 as the secound line is 1+2+3X4=

Apparently this is the way 4616 is found (its stupid!)...

1, twenty-five divided by five = five
2, 1+2+3x4 = 15
3, 12 x 0 =0
4, 101 - 99 = 2

if you add the numbers from above...
1, ( twenty, five , five , five ) = 4
2, ( 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 5, ) = 6
3, (12 x 0 ) = 1
4, ( 1, 0, 1, 9, 9, 2 ) = 6

you then put the numbers together which is 4616
