Presumably there won't be a 3rd series of this as Paul Spector seems to have died? I take it that he got some sort of mental closure by apparently dying in the arms of a substitute mother figure?

never presume , but agree, it's doubtful for a 3rd season...

Overall, a really enjoyable series...

Last night was quite good but overall it was fairly slow moving and lots of things that just peter out. Other annoyances (spoiler alert):

• the Inspector chap who was a complete basketcase. & somehow equating him with Spector - all a bit mumbled. I know it was meant to be thought provoking or summat, but it just seemed ridiculous.
• the enraged husband who shoots yer man in full view of armed cops - doesnt really add up.
• no apparent logic to the outcome of Rose Stagg.

Not exactly world class I wouldnt think, but watchable
