the dole and studying part time

I am currently about to start studying 2 courses part time and want to work part time also as the work load would be too great to work full time., whats the story with the dole???Can i get it for the time im not working?
Also, what other benefits am i entitled to?Thanks!!

You can only claim "dole" (Unemployment Benefit/Assistance) for periods where you are genuinely available for and seeking work. UA is means tested and UB is PRSI linked. See the Welfare site for qualifying conditions.

If were working before this then you may be able to claim back tax paid via [broken link removed].

To recieve the dole you must be available for and genuinely seeking work.
