TGV - Paris to Perpignan

[Perplexed]

Has anybody ever taken the TGV from Paris to Perpignan ? I'm going to be in Paris & I want to visit Perpignan. I was thinking of flying to Paris spending my 3 days there as planned & getting the TGV to Perpignan & flying home from Girona. Can anyone find a flaw with my thinking ?
I'm finding it difficult to get a flight from Paris to Perpignan

No flaws really I don't think

Air France fly from Paris (Orly Airport not CDG) to Perpignan several times a day ... fares can be as low as €50 o/w taxes included ... (which is I think cheaper than the train would be) . If that works the day you want to go it would save you a lot of time compared with the train ... it's a little over 1 hr flight vs around 5 1/2 hrs on the train .

Hey, thanks a million. I never thought of checking other than CDG.

And yes, TGV is starting at €110 & that journey takes almost 8hrs, it's €149 for the 5hr one.

Just checked it & I can get a flight for €74 & it takes 1hr 20 mins.
