Tesco - petrol discount

Hi,

was in Tesco Dundrum about 6 weeks ago and spent 60 odd euro on groceries. My receipt included a discount of 5c a litre (to be used within 1 week) at any tesco filling station. Did another shop in tesco dundrum last weekend and got no petrol discount, despite spending a few hundred euro on food.
Anyone know anything about this and whether the petrol discount is a 1 off promotion or a regular thing?

This value offer represents a saving of approx. 6% on fuel and we will continue to offer savings like this from time to time.”

That is from 2003.
Looks like the deal may be over for now! They said they will use promos like this from time to time.

Seen a TV ad for it the other day - albeit for Tesco in norn iron
