My wife applied for a tesco credit card so she could transfer the balance form her halifax credit card,got approved for the credit card,when she got the credit card she rang to transfer the balance only to find out that the limit on the tesco card was 1,000 euro up untill now they had not stated that the limit was 1,000,she found the person on the phone a bit rude and all he kept saying was" will i close the account so"? my wife said fine close the account as it wasnt any good to her if she couldnt transfer the balance of her halifax cc, now they are looking for 30 euro for stamp duty on this account,is this correct seeing as the account was never used?
