Is see termon abbey is the only part build on so far, that's some amount of houses their looking to build in the future, without the proper planning that could well end up like a concrete jungle.

The story so far seems to be that permission was granted for housing to accomodate 20,000 people on the northern side of Drogheda. The problem is that some of the land will be built on and some has to be given over for recreational/green use.If you are fortunate enough to own land that the builder wants well you will get a better price than someone whose land is earmarked for recreational/green use.The land owners are in dispute over this. There is also another underlying fact. The builders/developers have to contribute more in the form of infrastructure than is normal. The northern cross road is being part funded by the NRA.Their part of the project is to build a road from Tom Roe's point container terminal to the termonfechin rd.The developers will have to build/fund the rest of the road as far as the bottom of tullyesker where the link roundabout is already in place.
Skullduggery is a term that springs to mind and as a concequence the house prices in Drogheda have gone up on average 100k in the past 12 months as there is a housing shortage.
