Temporary work for five days whilst on contributory jobseekers allowance

I have five days work and contacted jobseekers to tell them. They have now closed my claim and said that I am to apply for a rapid reclaim next Monday when I am no longer working. I am a bit concerned because I thought there was a in work - out of work process in place which didn't require me to close a claim each time I had some temporary work. Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

Don't really understand your concern. What do you mean by 'in work-out of work process'? How is that different that 'closing' the claim for the 5 days you are working? Have you had different experience when you signed off for 5 days before? Your payment will recommence is the same way when you sign back.
