I have been told that I need to take a few weeks off during the summer unpaid, the company hope this is temporary but I need to take three weeks out of the next 12. I have been told I can sign on for those weeks. Is this payment means tested or how does it work?
Check the keypost for conditions of qualifying for Jobseekers Benefit. If you don't qualify for that, then you can claim Jobseeker's Allowance which is means-tested.
