Just wondering if anyone can confirm if it is possible to temporarily disconnect the Eircom messaging on home phone?

Have looked at their site/old literature to no avail. Going on previous posts/threads here don't relish spending a long time waiting on their call centre to confirm.

Thanks.

What do you mean by "messaging"? Call answering? Home phone text messaging? Something else?

Ring 1800 400 000 directly and skip that 1901 guy who asks silly questions. You need to ask them to deactivate it, and when you want it again you'll have to order it as a new service again

For what it's worth I've heard anecdotally that you can say "agent" to bypass all the computerised phone menu and skip straight to a human. Haven't tried it.
