Templeogue/Fortfield end to commute to Airport. How bad?

Hi All,
I am looking at applying for a job located at Dublin Airport. I'm currently in Templeogue. The location is currently putting me off as I fear the commute would be woeful.

Any ideas on this or experiences gratefully accepted!

I may change location for this position as I may look to rent a 1-bed apartment if this works out. I need to be able to get to Templeogue, Rathmines and the Airport without too much pain. Somewhere within 3km of the centre of town would be good too! Any ideas on a good location?

A few factors to be considered here. Are you going to be driving or using public transport? What are starting and finishing times? Are these flexible? There is a reasonably good bus service to and from the airport that you could consider. Obviously it would make the commute shorter if you were considering moving to the northside eg. Drumcondra, Glasnevin, Phibsboro, Whitehall, Santry etc
