Hey
I applied too.
If you have your confirmation number that you submitted the application form, phone the dublin number that was with it and ask them if you've been shortlisted.
I phoned them last week and was told i was way down the list ie. i'm not getting the job! They said they'll be posting out letters by the end of May.

My friend got called for the Limerick Revenue.

She was between jobs at the time she applied.

She didn't accept it because she had a new job got.

What experience/qualifications do you have, if you don't mind me asking?

Maybe they might have called all the people with accounts/office experience first (She has 12 yrs experience between general office work and accounts).

They might have done it on Leaving Cert levels, or might have called all the people with degrees. She got 6 hons in leaving cert and has a business degree with some accounting exams.

I think that Kerry might have less places than the larger towns. Also competition could be stiff as a lot of the people in college have good work experience nowadays.

Hope all goes well for you.

i have degree in commerce but not alot of exp just did my finals so this does not look good

Since you have a degree, this may look just as good as someone with no degree and lots of experience.

The govt jobs value education and will put more weight on a degree. For permanent jobs, you get a certain mark for your education. If you have a good L Cert and degree, then you would get high up in the panel.

Best of luck
