I have a high atrium in my house, about 30' high. I need to get a low priced extension pole to dust this area that I cannot reach. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have an extendable pole and even taped a feather duster to it but it's still not long enough for the stairwell so I use a lightweight football in an old pillowcase (anything with no zips or buttons) and throw it up - works grand if you remove all breakables in the area ;-)
Edit: Not sure where you'd get the pole but I think I got mine from a painter many moons ago so suggest painter suppliers.

no one lives in ivory towers around here,
I have seen Extensions poles up to 30Ft control from the ground, not great adding extensions is not easy,
Is the DocaPole 11M high on amazon of any use to you,

I use a lightweight football
Thanks everyone. My wife suggested a helium balloon with a cloth around it.

We have a Velux telescopic pole. Checking on line it is possible to get extension parts for these but at €22 a pop, I would need three to reach near the top and that would include standing on a step ladder.

I suppose I could get lightweight plumbing pipes and tape together but this would involve putting on tape and removing tape.

11 metre docapole as suggested by kj above.

Another alternative is the window cleaning poles (no experience with that supplier). Added bonus of being able to wash the exterior of your first floor windows from ground level.

Our sitting room has exposed beams to the roof and while not 30' high, it would probably be 20 - 25 feet. I use an extendable ladder, lean it against the beams and climb up it with the hoover in hand. I hoover the beams and the ceiling. Not an easy job, so it's not done on a regular basis!

Using a pole from that distance down didn't do a great job and obviously the dust floats about and settles on the ground or back where you took it from in the first place.

It's a niche problem that not many people have. Paying €66 to solve your issue is cheap!

Yes. We had thought about this. Kill two birds with the one stone, type of thing.
