Teeth cleaning under PRSI?

I've checked Oasis, and am not sure if 'scaling and polishing' means cleaning teeth. Does it? Or is it a procedure after you get a filling?

Also, how long before the dentist sends off the application forms until you hear if you've been approved for treatment under PRSI?

It does man cleaning.

Form goes to Letterkenny. dentist gets letter 2-3 weeks later approving the 'course ' of treatment . Dentist rings you to tell you usually.

You can also check whether or not you're entitled to 2 free annual cleaning procedures under PRSI (AKA descaling & polishing) by calling the DSFA Treatment Benefit section on 1890 400 400 (Ext 4480) and quoting your PPS number.
