I'm looking into purchasing a Taxi plate and hiring out 'Cosying' .. does anyone have experience of doing this. Also what are the pit falls of going for a disabled access Taxi....
Only pitfall of disabled access is you pay less for the plate but you must always provide a wheelchair accessible vehicle. There are certain dimensions and limitations regarding the size and structure of these cars which you should be able to get from the taxi regulators office. These vehicles tend to be dearer than your average saloon car so saving on the plate may cost more on the long run.
