Hi ,

1.) What kind of tax can be written off against rental losses. Is is possible to write off gains on shares. What about PAYE tax?

2.) Any idea on what it costs for an accountant to do returns. I'm an normal paye worker with an investment property.

3.) Any recommendations for an accountant on the south side of Dublin.

1) Rental losses may only be carried forward against future rental profits. YOu can not set them against PAYE or other income.

2) For PAYE with investment property probably €300-400.

3) Can't help on this, others may have recommendations.
