Tax Relief on Pension Contributions

Hi all

Just a quick question on the tax relief on pension contributions.

If you pay the higher rate of tax on a proportion of your salary but your pension contributions are more than that proportion do you only get the lower rate relief on the balance of contributions ?

Yes. You can only get relief on tax you pay.
