Health Insurance Tax relief on Nursing Home (NH) costs

Say someone is on the Fair Deal (FD) scheme and that there are additional costs of €250 a month for ancillary services - i.e. NH charges not covered by FD.

If a family member pays these charges, can s/he get tax relief on these payments at the marginal rate?
