Tax relief on investment research tools?

Long shot - but do Revenue provide for tax relief on investment research tools? One example, I have a subscription to Stockopedia - can I claim that on an annual basis? Note I'm not a professional investor - rather I'm PAYE. If I can't claim annually, can I claim when I dispose of stocks (just like I can deduct transaction costs etc)

Cheers, John

TMG is correct - Trader is not listed as a profession with flat rate expense allowance.
Different subject entirely.
There are trading education courses available that I have been considering purchasing & claiming tax relief on them as educational/tuition fees. Not what you asked I know but related somewhat.
You'll be doing very well for this claim to succeed.
