Tax relief on College Fees ?

There is a note on the notice that accompanied the invoice for the registration fee from TCD re tax relief.
It states 'to obtain tax relief (where applicable), please retain the receipt portion of your fee payment form ..........

Can anyone confirm that tax relief is available for 3rd level registration fees for full time students?

Registration fees are not tuition fees, unfortunately tax relief is not available on registration fees.
