Hello everyone... Great site... Can I ask some advice, please?....
I'm sole carer to my mother who is in End Stage Kidney Failure... I recieve Carers Allowance, and work part time... I'm single, and I live with Mum...
I realise that a person who has kidney failure can claim tax relief for certain expenses associated with their ASKF... Laundry costs, extra electricity, travel, extra heating (Kidney patients are always cold... You should see my gas bill... LOL)... etc...
My question is. as Mum is a pensioner and not in the tax net, and so is not claiming this tax credit, can I claim it on my taxes... I pay most of these costs anyway???...
Thanks...
