I am fund raising for a registered charity. Most people are giving me cash, and i intend to give to the charity a personal cheque of the same amount as the amount raised in cash (I don't want to keep cash at home, hence lodging cash onto specific bank a/c)
At the end of the year, can i (41% tax rate) still complete a CHY2 to allow the charity to claim tax back even though money would have come from 20% PAYE, 41% PAYE, self employed, companies, etc...?
