Hi all,
Firstly, just want to say great site and so far it has helped my wife loads in understanding how to set up her first business venture ... anyway onto me
I currently work in the UK for a company and pay the UK taxes (PAYE and NI).. (Resident in UK) I travel back to Ireland at most about twice a month ... Now i have the opportunity to work from home remotely on a permenant basis, although i will still be paid in £ into my UK bank account and i still pay UK taxes and NI.
How will this affect me being able to becoming resident in Ireland and working from home here permenantly ...
I understand that i will need to register for tax here ?
Supply a tax return here and the UK ?
and then i will have to pay tax on the difference ?
Its a bit confusing trying to understand what is being said on revenue.ie, so before possibly having to see an accountant, thought it would be a good idea to seek you guys advice
Thanks
