I'm a full-time PAYE employee with c. 8k in non-PAYE income. My PAYE salary is over €48,800. Does this indicate that I should be paying 41% + 2% (PRSI) on the €8,000 (as I have already paid 6% up to €48,800) or is it more complicated than that?

EDIT: I think I need to be paying 41% + 3% (PRSI) + 2% (Health contribution) on all my non-PAYE income.

Also- poking around ROS now- can I just bung this in as "New Incomes- Fees and Commissions" in the PAYE section or do I have to file a seperate self-employed tax return? The income is unrelated to my PAYE job.

EDIT: I see this appears to be up to a max of €3,175, beyond which I have to register for self-assessment.
