Tax/Prsi claim post Maternity Leave

Was out on maternity leave from Apr 2007 to Oct 2007 during which my job paid me and got welfare payment too. Went back to work in Oct, then made redundant in Nov and havent worked since. My question is can I claim back any tax from when I actually worked and am I entitled to anything back from when I was on maternity? Thanks

You should have got a P45 when you finished up in November. Send this to tax office and you should be entitled to small refund for Decmber's tax credits which you won't have used up. Maternity benefit is not taxable so won't affect your tax refund.
