Tax on second job

Would appreciate if anyone could help me am currently earning 29000 a year am considering getting a weekend job in a local hotel doing some bar work wondering how will i be taxed. If it will mean that i will be paying more tax than i am earning i don't think it would be worth it.

With 'Reviewed Gross Salary' and 'Review effective from start of' for the second income.

If you are earning 29000 in your current job, you can transfer 5000 (assuming you are taxed as a single person) to a second employment to make up your standard rate cut off point of 34000. You would be taxed @ 20% on the first 5000 and 41% on earnings above 5000. It would probably be worth your while for at least the first 5000 anyway.
