Tax on Divitend

I work 20 hours a week gross pay of 15,000, My wife also works the other 20 hours gross pay of 17,000, ie we look after 3dd between us, I am receiving a one of divitend on share's I have in a company in the USA of around 13,000 euro, What is our Tax libilty on the 13,000, is it 20% Thanks
 
As far as I can see your liability is 20% on the dividend income of €13,000 - i.e. €2,600.

Not sure about US dividends but Irish/UK dividends are usually paid net of a witholding tax for you which you receive a credit. Check in case there is any witholding tax on these dividends for which you can do the same.

Dividend income is subject to income tax. The easiest way to estimate your liability is to simply add the dividend income to your gross income and use [broken link removed] to check (a) if it pushes you into the 42% tax bracket and (b) what additional tax you owe. As far as I can see the additional income does not push you into the 42% bracket and your liability is 20% on the dividend income.
