I have recently come to sell some shares from a previous employer, a multi-national telecoms company. The share scheme worked as follows:
In 2001 I subscribed to the company's scheme and bought 4 trenches of shares over the course of the year. Exactly 3 years after the purchase date of each trench, each share was matched 1 for 1 in a bonus scheme.
The shares were then held in a Citibank bank account in the intervening years and, since I am no longer an employee of the company, I have been requested
